Service Specialist Electronics (m/f/d)

 Purpose of the job:
 

• Development of electronics solutions in the field of repair, overhaul and modernization of vehicle components from existing fleets
• Specialist of electronics and control units

Missions:
 

• Evaluate and implement replacements due to obsolescence

• Technical Support for the production and testing team due to documentation and processes for maintaincance, overhaul and repair orders 

• Preperation and development of test procedures for the electrical testing 

• Failure analysis and customer support for different applications 

• Preparation of documents for third party applications 

• Development of special testing procedures and measurements for control units

• Support and solve problems with internal suppliers and EMS

Competences and skills:
 

• Several years of professional experience

• Fluent German, good written and spoken English

• willingsness to travel (priority DACH Region) 

• Knowledge in the field of:

  • controls and electronics

  • programming von constrol units

  • current standards (VDE, EN, DIN) for railway 

  • measurement equipment 

  • PDM and ERP 

  • railway technology, especially controls (Traction, Auxiliary) und vehicle control units

  • harware PCBs

• Strong technical and customer focus, relationship building and management

• Initiative and creativity, paired with analytical skills
