We are currently looking to recruit a Service and Warranty Project Manager for our Signalling team located in Mannheim, Germany.
As a Service Project Manager, you need to ensure the successful management, planning and execution of customer projects based on Service and Warranty Contracts
The Service Project Manager is the leading member of a Service Project, responsible for all project management tasks within Service or Warranty project.
In this role you must lead one or more projects and coordinate all activities.
You are responsible for the execution of project management tasks within a Service or Warranty projects in time and budget and act as an interface between the leading project unit project management / customer, financial and planning team, the technical engineering, the service and supply team and the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and scheduling of all project work packages needed for the execution of service or warranty projects.
- Managing of the project, synchronisation of project tasks, dates, timelines, contracts and budget
- Represent the project regarding signalling project towards the customer and internal functions
- Act as an interface towards the engineering department, change management, financial, contracts, planning and supply chain management
- Risk and opportunity management
- Reports and KPIs
Qualifications:
- Relevant academic background, Master of Science in Engineering or industrial engineering or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Project Management and planning/scheduling and reporting
- Knowledge in railway signalling processes and solutions and knowledge of applicable standards and regulations (ERTMS/ETCS) would be beneficial
- Desired competencies: customer orientation, communication, team player, planning, drive for results, decision making.
- Good documentation and presentation skills using MS Office tools
- Fluent in English and German
