Senior Software Engineer for Safety and Non-Safety Software(m/f/d) 

Full-time - unlimited


We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Software Engineer for our ETCS development team located in Mannheim, Germany.


-    Create design for safety (SIL4) und non-safety software
-    Implement safety (SIL4) und non-safety software to meet requirements
-    Perform SW/SW und SW/HW Integration of safety (SIL4) and non-safety software
-    Design and execute Component tests und Sub-system tests
-    Perform code reviews
-    Create and maintain technical documentation
-    Troubleshoot, debug and improve existing software


Skills and Qualifications:
-    Relevant academic background, Master of Science in Computing, Engineering or equivalent experience
-    At least five years’ experience in Software engineering for Embedded Systems
-    Very good knowledge of C/C++
-    Knowledge of UML is desirable
-    Knowledge of ETCS is desirable
-    Knowledge of VectorCAST is desirable
-    Knowledge of Linux OS, FreeBSD is desirable
-    Knowledge of MVB, Profibus and Ethernet is desirable
-    Experience with Scrum based Software Development is desirable
-    Excellent communication skills
-    Fluent in spoken and written English
-    Able to work independently, is flexible and collaborates actively in a team


Salary: according to ERA Tarifvertrag
