You design, develop and put in place solutions to improve logistic flows meeting QCDE targets in compliance with regional priorities (regarding material flow, storage, packaging, warehousing, transport and respect of ERP rules). You apply the best core practices to improve Logistics operations.





  • Implement, manage standard packaging solutions (purchase, design, prototype, validation, …) and monitor the budget follow-up.
  • Apply solutions to protect parts during all logistic operations (transport, unloading, storage, line feeding, …).
  • Save money & cash (calculate ROI Return On Investment, design standard packaging, reduce transport costs, …) and make business case to justify any investment (returnable packaging, …).
  • Contribute with Regional Logistic Engineering to identify potential improvements in the whole value chain and capture the added value.
  • Reduce work labor time in the warehouse (picking, kitting hours, …) & in production.
  • Improve ergonomics at workstation (internal kitting trolley) and reduce waste packaging (zero unpacking).
  • Manage the SPECIFIC Supply Chain specifications and negotiate with the suppliers at site and project level (PSLR Project Specific Logistics Requirements and project doc#20).
  • Design internal logistic processes and ensure that the parameters in the ERP are correct (stock strategy, ABC classification, …).
  • Put in place actions to align physical flow and system flow and to improve the stock accuracy in compliance with the standard process.
  • Design packaging solutions (define flow, calculate batch size, optimize packaging costs, calculate ROI and logistic loop, realize business case returnable vs lost packaging, …).
  • Manage packaging at all levels from business award to maintenance including purchase order and budget monitoring.
  • Define warehouse layouts, its internal/external flows and storage policy (define C-class storage management, create & implement mirror area, put in place visual management, Kanban flow, FIFO, FEFO, lean management, …).
  • Participate to ABC classification and contribute to C-Class activity according to the standard rules in place.
  • Participate* to the different gates review of RFQ (Request For Quotation) by negotiating terms of SPECIFIC Supply Chain Specification or PSLR Project Specific Logistics Requirements and project doc#20 (*with PrSCL Projet Supply Chain Leader).
  • Reduce logistic costs and make business case (optimize packaging & transport costs, analyze milk-run, calculate ROI realize business case returnable vs lost packaging, …).
  • Optimize the line feeding (design standard kitting trolley, warehouse & production line footprint and sequencing, …).
  • Work closely with industrialization or PME, material planning, warehouse, sourcing, manufacturing teams.





  • Graduated from Engineering or Business or Economics school. 
  • German fluent, English (written and spoken).
  • Specialized in Supply Chain.
  • Experience in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledgeable of ERP SAP (WM and IM modules).
  • Good communication, negotiation, leadership, and initiative skills.
  • Strategic and methodical vision.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Planning and scheduling skills.
