Provide assistance to the Site Engineering Director, coordinating a number of tasks within the scope of Engineering to support the completion of planned works to budget, safely and within set timescales, whilst maintaining a high standard in all areas in accordance with Alstom Policies & Procedures.





  • Support independently the Engineering Director and Functions in all phases of a project lifecycle.
  • Support Functions in resource and work planning & control, budget management
  • Manage the data collection, report generation and follow up metrics measuring and reporting.
  • Assess the validity of indicators proposing potential changes, additions, or deletions. 
  • Act as a change manager – help with implementation of ALSTOM standard processes to ensure tasks are completed in line with standards and policies.
  • Communicate program requirements to staff and follow up for deliverables with all stakeholders.
  • Boost automation and digitalization for Performance measurement methods  
  • Facilitation of internal and external meetings and workshops.
  • Ensure all relevant stakeholders are informed, action items are followed up to resolution.



Essential requirements for the position of Project Management Assistant in Engineering are as follows:

  • University degree or relevant experience is required
  • Strong planning and organizing, ability to see the big picture.
  • Focus on details, errorless delivery, logical reasoning
  • Data driven mindset; proactive, strong team player
  • Understanding Engineering Process (Project, Engineering, Industrial…).
  • Previous experience in performance/ quality / improvement / workload / planning or related field. 
  • Comprehensive understanding of Data Analysis and performance reporting. 
  • Proven experience in visual management, data analysis. 
  • Strong IT skills in MS Office suite, along with excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent German and English
  • Experience in PRINCE2 or PMI are of advantage.
