Could you be the full-time Control Engineer/Control Software Engineer, based in Mannheim we’re looking for?

 

Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your software and control system expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Tran Dung (Software and Control TCIS Domain Leader) and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates. No two days are the same, but day-to-day, you will lead a by example and advise, help, coach and support your team mates and perform control engineering activities for one or several functions from architecture to detailed specification, interface and Pure Principle Scheme or Logical Diagram.

 

We’ll look to you for
•    Implement the development practices and rules as defined in the Train Control support plans
•    Formulate a low voltage and software control design solutions that fulfils the specified customer requirements 
•    Deliver Functional Design Description, Electrical Schemes and Electrical Products definition (with the support of the Electrical Lead Engineer) in compliance with Engineering QCD (quality, cost, delay) commitments
•    Contribute to software specification and architecture
•    Handle Change Request related to the function
•    Deliver Interface Control Document for sub system
•    Occasionally, support during train integration and validation

•    Relevant work experience 
•    Hands-on experience in design & development software (EN-IEC 61131) 
•    Desireable Knowlage of EN 50657, EN 50128 and/or EN50129 
•    Experience in electrical and schematic design activities is valuable
•    Knowledge of network technologies and Ethernet and other industrial communication network is beneficial (MVB, CAN, IPTCOM, TRDP)
•    Fluent in English, German language is a plus
