Bachelor Thesis for our location in Mannheim, Germany

As a student preparing the Bachelor Thesis, you are going to carry out the development of an environmental data logger to be implemented on Alstom products, preferably on board signalling systems. This involves setting up a logging system from commercially available sensors for temperature, vibration etc. and communication systems to send the data to centralised evaluation units.

You are:

• About to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Civil Engineering; computer sciences, physics or similar.
• Preferably, coursework or certificate in RAM Engineering 
• Preferably RAM Engineering experience like RBD, FTA, FMEA, RAM predictions, Markov, IEC62380;
• Preferably professional experience in Railway Signalling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software;
• Demonstrate Quality, Cost, Delay commitments on delivering engineering works
• Excellent written and oral communication skills 
• Good analytical & synthetical skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Self-motivated;
• Ability to adapt and passion to learn new techniques in a changing environment.
• Well-organized, structured way of working, sociable and with a problem-solving mindset; team player interest in onboarding, mentoring, and improving others. 
• English and German at a fluent level are mandatory for this role
