Responsibilities

Accounting, Reporting, Internal Control and Local Compliance

  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing in SAP and support Management Reporting to the Group
  • Monitor evolution of KPIs and provide meaningful analysis
  • Treasury and cash management
  • Review of Balance Sheet account reconciliations and facilitate actions toward timely closure of open items
  • Central point of coordination of activities between the P2P, R2R, O2C, and other teams in the Shared Service Center and the Site teams (e.g., Sourcing, Supply Chain, Project Finance, etc.)
  • Monitor and manage resolutions of key items including, but not limited to, AP backlog, aged AP balances, advances, intercompany mismatches and overdue
  • Internal Control Governance: Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
  • Streamline accounting and financial processes
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and local tax laws, including transfer pricing documentations
  • Prepare statutory Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS, liaise with external auditors during statutory audits
  • Support automation initiatives across accounting and reporting processes

 

Support for Onshore Project Controlling

  • Preparation of monthly cash-out forecast and provide support for onshore project financial data for budget and forecasts
  • Participation in the annual 3-YearPlan and rolling forecasts exercise for Manila site
  • Active involvement in project reviews and onshore Work Packages follow-up
  • Support cost control of Site overhead costs, computation of hourly rates and assessment of under/over-recovery Be responsible for customer invoicing, VAT, Receivables and payment control
  • Be a responsive business partner of the project team and other stakeholders

 

Behavioural and Technical Skills / Competencies

  • At least 8-10 years of combined relevant working experience in full-cycle accounting, financial analysis, reporting and audit
  • Knowledge of Project Accounting (e.g., long term construction contract) Experience in SAP, MS Office, consolidation and reporting tools
  • Experience of working in MNC with accounting shared services
  • Possess strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
  • Agile and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment; with sense of urgency and ability to manage tight deadlines
  • A resilient and mature professional who is a team player yet able to work independently
  • Proactive and solution oriented Team management experience preferred Good verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Energetic, self-motivated, with enthusiasm to grow with the company
