Could you be the full-time Material Planner in [LOCATION] we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your material planning expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring the right materials are delivered at the right time, quantity, and place to support Alstom’s projects and operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Warehouse, Sourcing/Procurement, Planning, and Engineering & Industrialization), monitor supplier performance, and drive action plans for improvement. You’ll also contribute to risk management strategies and ensure accurate material planning data in our ERP system.
You’ll specifically take care of analyzing supplier performance and managing material availability, but also support supply chain objectives and ensure compliance with our APSYS roadmap.
We’ll look to you for:

Applying core model processes for material planning and maintaining master data

Managing supplier performance KPIs and ensuring raw material coverage aligns with targets

Expressing delivery needs to suppliers and following up on deliveries

Analyzing and managing MRP exception messages to anticipate supply challenges

Resolving goods receipt issues and ensuring non-conformity replacements
-
Collaborating with stakeholders to define action plans for performance improvement

Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain

Experience or understanding of supply chain activities and projects

Knowledge of material requirements planning and inventory management techniques

Familiarity with SAP and supply chain information systems

A certification in Supply Chain or Project Management

Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
