Could you be the full-time Senior Project Manager, Infrastructure in Ortigas, Manila, Philippines we’re looking for?

 

Your future role:

  1. Be accountable for project QCDP performance and optimize Project Financial performance (Margin & Cash)
  • As owner of the Project Management Work Package (WP), the Senior Infra Project Manager is accountable for all the activities of his WP.

     2. Be responsible for the Subsystem governance. Define strategy in line with contract requirements, including PMP elaboration and objectives allocation to Sub-Systems (planning, cost, quality, performance)

     3. Lead and coordinate project activities and stakeholders from transfer to close-out including:

  • Definition of Project objectives and main drivers (product/service performance, planning) to achieve customer satisfaction in the frame of the Contract
  • Resources management
  • Define and adapt project core team staffing, as well as WP resources along with the situation of the project
  • Escalate when project resources available do not match the project needs
  • Team leading, including Subsystem Core Team, Project Managers of internal and external partners:
  • Make sure that key subsystem stakeholders are aligned towards project/ goals.
  • Engage teams in the successful achievement of project objectives and strengthen relationships among them
  • Synchronize key suppliers and internal partners and arbitrate when necessary
  • Alignment with contractual requirements and management of variation orders. Arbitration of Q,C,D,P re-baselining and change management at project level. Manage claim and litigations if needed
  • Proactive risk, saving and opportunity management
  • Management of the project progress and its KPIs, and reports to senior management, with transparency during the business/critical project reviews. The Senior Project Manager is the representative of the project towards Alstom management.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, instructions and standards: Code of Ethics & Compliance, EHS, Railway Safety, Quality, Project Management Manual

     4. Manage Engineer and external stakeholders’ relationship

  • Continuously ensuring alignment with Engineer and contractual requirements
  • Ensure contract management and variation orders towards customer
  • Manager key suppliers for PSD, AFC, POS and DEQ, with a particular focus on the PSD and AFC subcontracts

    5. Subject to your qualifications and demonstrated performance in the role, you maybe appointed as Deputy Project Director.

 

Performance measurements:  

  • Project Performance Indicator (PPI)
  • Cash Performance Indicator (CPI)   
  • Achieve Sales targets on a Quarterly basis
  • Gate review Go on time / On Time Delivery 
  • Japanese content target for the subsystem
  • Customer Satisfaction       
  • EHS when applicable

 

All about you (Qualifications):

  • Graduated from engineering school with a Master's Degree
  • IPMA level B (or equivalent) is an advantage  
  • 10+ years of experience as a project manager in railway industry with special focus on DC Traction power supply and depot equipment
  • Experience of working in and with multinational companies in different business cultures
  • Knowledge of Alstom ways of working for efficient process execution
  • Good project management skills 
  • Good communication skills
  • Team management (capacity to coordinate and ensure collaboration of multi-site/multi-functional teams)
  • Leadership, entrepreneurship mindset and result oriented
  • Good knowledge of project management processes
  • Good knowledge of railway products and systems
  • Ability to manage customer relationship
  • Advanced Negotiation skills
  • Conflict and crisis management
