Key accountabilities:

• Manage the technical contractual scope of the project:
• Ensure availability of resources to achieve the Engineering on time and within budget. Subsequent to design phase, to support installation in achieving desired quality, cost, on-time completion and functional performance.
• Continuously find ways to utilize available resources in order to contribute to savings.
• Be accountable for the customer acceptance of the project solution, especially for deviations.
• Define a suitable list of deliverables followed by on-time submission and approvals.
• Manage the project technical risks and the corresponding mitigation plan.
• Together with the Project Manager, in case of contractual scope evolution, raise variation order and manage it until fruition.
• Validate the technical design choices with the peers and Solution Director / Platform.
• Identify the applicable regulations in the customer country/city and ensure they are taken into account in design.
• Manage the project solution, including the customization and specific configuration of the generic solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance (QCDP) commitments:
• Ensure, with the support of the required experts and involving all stakeholders, that all the technical requirements of the contract are fully addressed throughout the project lifecycle, from the capture stage up to the demonstration.
• Support/participate in the Project Change Control Board (CCB)
• Be responsible of the project design and application engineering activities.
• Supervise Verification & Validation activities.
• Be accountable for Engineering WP QCD
• Provide BOM
• Define Spares List
• Verify Project Safety Case (scope, strategy and exported constraints)
• Functionally lead the POS engineering team:
• Allocate Task(s) across Engineering team and ensure engineering activities follow-up.
• Together with Domain / Metier Leaders and Project Engineering Metier / Domain Department Heads, define the project engineering team organization according to the project phase (and as defined in the EMP)
• Ensure design interfaces are defined and achieved.
• Submit the as-builts, O&M documents on time.
• Demobilize engineering resources on time.
• Ensure GATE REVIEWS achieve GO ON TIME

• Deploy the applicable engineering process, methods & tools to ensure completion of the works on time.
• Manage and participate in the evaluation of the project engineering team

• • Ensure REX are compiled progressively and presented to project management and Platform. Support PrQSM to consolidate the REX of the Project and the Reliability Growth

• Share Environment, Health and Security (EHS) rules with project engineering team (receiving inputs from PM/Project EHS Manager/Coordinator or RC EHS Manager)
• Manage the interface with the project core team:  

• • Provide all technical documents in time for the industrialization, sourcing, installation, test and commissioning (product BOQ, architecture schematics, ...)
  • Provide support for the execution of technical activities on-shore (delegation of responsibility could be defined and formalized in the Engineering Management Plan of the Project)
  • Solve technical issues detected by different core team members.
  • During project warranty, coordinate actions to support resolution of pending technical issues following Project Warranty Manager (PrWM) requirements.
  • Support RC Project Engineering Domain/Metiers Department Head to define/perform knowledge capitalization.

Performance measurements:

• Project QCDP (quality, cost, delivery and performance)
• Project Specification, including Design documents & Projects V&V documents approval status.
• Project requirement database maturity (it covers “traceability & coverage of requirements by V&V”)
• Engineering management plan application
• Assessment results based on internal audits and process inspections (applied in the project)

Mandatory:

Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Engineering 

Experience in Depot Equipment

Engineering background including project deployment full lifecycle view

Hands-on experience on functional or hierarchical team management

Cost and planning control experience in engineering scope

Hands-on experience on Customer relationship in contractual situations
