Could you be the full-time EHS Officer in Ortigas, Pasig City, Philippines we’re looking for?
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and advise project teams on Environmental, Safety and Health aspect of work.
- Makes recommendations to changes in operating policies and procedures.
- Advise the project management or any other person in charge of the site on the measures to be taken in the interests of EHS.
- Assist in organizing EHS activities such as safety promotion, training, meeting, and other activities that will develop and maintain EHS awareness of the employees and workers in the project.
- Preparation and maintenance of EHS related records / statistics.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify workplace hazards (Unsafe working practices & conditions) and recommends corrective / preventive actions.
- Investigate accidents, complete or verify accident reports, identify the causes of accidents and recommend measures to prevent their recurrence including maintaining EHS records.
- Recommend changes to working processes and conditions to ensure that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment.
- Ensures that the project complies with all current and future EHS regulations and laws.
- Implements all necessary EHS System needed for the Project which includes educating and training the project workforce on EHS to ensure that they understand and comply with the projects EHS policies and standards.
Knowledge & Experience
- Engineering or Science and Technology related degree.
- 2 years minimum experience in Industrial / Construction operations.
- General knowledge in Environmental, Health and Safety Legislations and Regulations.
- DOLE - OSH EHS accreditation or have attended DOLE BOSH and COSH training.
- Must be fluent in English.
