BIM CAD Modeler – COMMS 

Purpose of the Job: Using the project’s requirement specification the BIM CAD Modeler is to produce areas of detailed design, set out in the form of 2D or 3D CAD (CATIA and other tools) models for the purpose of producing drawings and models for construction

Your future role (Responsibilities):  

• Review the BIM model provided by the civil contractors, by the client or by other interface contractors
• Organize the production of information in the form of detailed models and detail drawings and models using the CAD and BIM software.
• Produce the design in BIM model and CAD drawings as per the contract requirements and the technical rules
• Support the technical contractual scope of the project
• Ensure availability of resources to achieve the Engineering milestone on time, particularly after the design phase.
• Collaborate with experts and stakeholders to address all technical contract requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Taking verbal direction and implementing sketches and calculations into final CAD/ BIM work.
• Ensure proper management of design filing, storage and retrieval. Keeping records of the changes and monitoring of the document and its changes to comply configuration management.
• Producing plans, elevation, technical details and interface drawings from the inputs of related subsystem/subcontractors/suppliers and civil contractors.
• Support the processing of the customer acceptance of the project solution, effectively managing any deviations.
• Ensure on-time submission and approval of project documents.
• Support the project solution, including the customization and specific configuration of the generic solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance commitments.
• Be responsible of the project design and application engineering activities.
• Prepare the CSD/SEM input/output coordination to civil contractor, and as-builts on time.
• Ensure to comply progressively and presented to project management and Platform.

• Provide functional support to the Telecom engineering team, coordinating with civil contractors and accomplishing assigned tasks.
• Support the project design and application engineering activities, including on-site validation.

• Coordinating with construction and installation teams to ensure accurate implementation

Support the interface with the project core team:

• Provide all technical documents in time for the industrialization, design, sourcing, installation, test and commissioning.
• Provide support for execution of technical activities onshore (delegation of responsibility could be defined and formalized in the Project Management Plan of the NSCR Project).
• Support in solving technical issues with offshore support and with different core team members.

All about you (Qualifications):

• Industry knowledge in multiple project disciplines, as civil and railway mechanical design
• 3-5 years’ experience in design drafting or engineering.
• 3-5 years’ experience in BIM/CAD delivery management.
• A good knowledge of BIM concepts, BIM delivery methods and BIM uses.
• Thorough familiarity with all BIM contract requirements.
• A good knowledge of the EDMS, GIS, BIM technologies (Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Bentley ProjectWise).
• A good knowledge of MS-Office technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, Fluent in English.
• Willing to be assigned to Ortigas office.
• Willingness to participate in site activities as required
