Could you be the full-time AFC Junior Engineer in Ortigas, Philippines we’re looking for?
Purpose of the Job- To control and coordinate the subcontracted AFC subsystem Engineering activities for railway tenders and projects including writing the technical part of the supplier RFQ, leading design reviews, managing the integration of this subsystem with the others, supporting its installation and Testing & commissioning.
Your future role (Key responsibilities):
- AFC or PSD subsystem skills for Tender & Project.
- Technical contact point between the customer and project stakeholder and the wayside subsystem supplier.
- Produce the Technical part of suppliers RFQ for tender and or deliverables for projects.
- Lead technically part of the wayside subsystem proposal for tenders.
- Make the technical evaluation and support the sourcing for the supplier selection and variation orders from the supplier.
- Lead all the coordination between the supplier and the other subsystems for the interface’s definition.
- Validate the documentation coming from the supplier (design, TC, training), monitor the supplier progress .
- Validate the supplier standalone test and inspection.
- Coordinate the integration test between the supplier and project team.
- Control the full coverage and validation of the subsystem requirement.
Skills Requirements : Electrical/Electronics engineer, specialized in systems inter-operability with minimum 1-5 years-experience in relevant Wayside systems and interfaces within transportation systems.
Competencies & Skills
- Master University Degree in Engineering.
- Fluent in English, and fluent in contract language.
- Knowledge of system engineering methodology (MBSE).
- Good Communications and interpersonal skills including with third parties (customer).
- Knowledge of wayside supplier panel and ability to challenge the supplier solutions for global optimization.
- Knowledge of the wayside standard, must be able to analyze contracts and technical documents.
- Knowledge in reading and understanding architectural floor plans.
- Knowledge and understanding in IT Networking, Structured cabling design, conduiting design and checking of drawings.
- Knowledge of Automatic Fare Collection and Railway Communication System is an advantage.
