Job Title: Project Manager (PM)

Duration: Permanent

Location: Madrid. MV49


Purpose of the Job

· Drive project execution, to maximize the results with respect to cash and margin whilst delivering on time, in conformity with the contract according to Customer expectations and the requirements
on EHS.

· Constantly seek and pursue additional business opportunities.



-Plans and manages the complete execution of his/her scope from transfer to close out, in line with Contract requirements.

Design for Quality Review Cycle (DFQ) GR (Gate Review) GO ON TIME and (GR)Gate Review

Progress of Project Management Training as defined by PMO / Signalling Projects Performance

- Leads a Project team, including Core team and when applicable internal and external partners Project Managers in line with the project structure.
- Performs project management and contract administration according to Alstom PM Guidelines and instructions, including proactive risk and opportunity management.
- Ensures completion of Project Performance goals to meet business objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible and accountable for the Project Profit and Loss of his/her project scope.
- Represents Alstom towards Customers and when applicable external stakeholders (Consortium, JV…).
- Ensures optimal quality of project execution and reviews.
- Ensures that critical project aspects are identified in project reviews and proactively/professionally addressed and followed up.
- Makes sure that key project stakeholders are aligned towards project goals

- Accountable for the proper implementation of the Alstom EHS policy within the project.
- Reports to senior management, with transparency, the actual situation of the project and its key KPIs, during the monthly/business/sector project reviews.


Educational Requirements:

University degree in engineering, or similar qualification

University degree in Business Administration, or equivalent commercial background.


Knowledge / Experience:

3-5 years of relevant Project Management experience. Desirable career experience in Railways or large industrial projects (EPC,…)

Other requirements

Fluent in English and French

Excellent relational skills

Used to work on a goal-driven basis environment
