Could you be the full-time Technical Documentation Engineer (Obsolesence Management) in Madrid we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your obsolescence management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.
You'll facilitate and support the development of obsolescence management plan with Product Platforms and Projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (maintenance, logistics), determine obsolescence monitoring strategies for projects and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of writing obsolescence management plans, but also reviewing incoming obsolescence alerts from external sources and identify necessary actions.
We’ll look to you for:
- Prepare periodic project obsolescence reports including Performance Indicators
- Facilitate development of obsolescence solutions
- With Sourcing and Supply Chain, develop obsolescence management capability in Suppliers through use of Supplier Charter Audits and Obsolescence Management Plans
- Facilitate supplier obsolescence review meetings

- (Post) Graduate in Engineering or Industrial (Internal Graduation (“cadre interne” in F) is acceptable
- High level of English
- 2 years of experience in a technical role in rail or similar industry
- Technology watch & obsolescence management.
- Desirable: experience in signalling proyects
