Could you be the full-time Software Project & Development Engineer in Pinto,Madrid we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your software development expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

You'll delivery the Train Software module and integration of the module, according to your Engineering Work Package. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management), deploy and apply Train Control & Information Solutions development procedures and processes on your project and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of defining requirements according to customer specifications but also producing Control Build Software Model in compliance with Requirements and Standards Functional Design Document and Interface Control Document.

We’ll look to you for:

• Developing software / modules for different devices and platforms (while assuring and maximizing the reuse of standard configurable software components).

• Define requirements according to customer specifications. 

• Technical management of suppliers and direct technical contact with clients.

• Verify and validate the work of other members team and report conveniently to the direct supervisor. 

• Generating executable code and configuration to be loaded on the different platforms.
• Providing support during train integration and validation, upon request.

• Hands-on development experience of one or more software phases like software development, hardware-software integration, etc, with minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Hands-on development projects and documentation according to ISO 9001, EN50657 (or EN50128) and overall, in V cycle design.
• Hands-on development experience of embedded software developments: C, C ++, embedded Linux, Makefile, Bash scripting, GIT.  
• Soft skills in order to deal with the client, project manager and different stakeholders.
• Knowledge of real time network protocols like MVB, Ethernet, RS232, RS 485.
• Knowledge of containers technologies like Docker. 
• Knowledge of debugging tools (Valgrind, GDB, Wireshark). 
• Desirable knowledge in web applications developments: .NET, JavaScript, SQL. 
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies (SCRUM).
• Complete management of the Office package.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Availability to work in Madrid.
