Could you be the full-time Service Software Development Engineer in Madrid we’re looking for?
Your future role
We are seeking a Service Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development, implementation and optimization of the maintenance system for signalling projects.
Take on a new challenge and apply your software development expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.
You'll coordinate different activities with other project stakeholders (from project activities to integration with other sub-sistems). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business to contribute to successful project execution.
We’ll look to you for:
- Develop and implement maintenance solution ensuring the reliability and efficency.
- Oversee condition-base and predictive maintenance techniques using advances moinitoring system.
- Analysing requirements as well as system design and programming.
- Carry out integration test in our laboratory.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance teams.

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering. Telecommunication/Computer/Software Engineering will be desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge and experience working with Software development life cycle (understand SW in all phases - QA, validation, certification of product: standards from rail, aerospace, automotive, etc). Desirable Python and/or Linux.
- Experienced in microservices and containers (Harvester and Kubernetes) will be considered a plus.
- Desirable experience in maintenance support systems or maintenance monitoring system and predictive maintenance tools.
- Railway experience and knowledge will be considered a plus.
- Good understanding of product life cycle management and configuration management.
- English and Spanish at a fluent level are mandatory for this role.
