Could you be the full-time Railway Warranty and Maintenance Training Engineer in Cerro Negro, Madrid we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your experience and knowledge to transfer process from suppliers to internal teams and end customers, ensuring that all stakeholders are adequately trained to operate and maintain the systems safely and efficiently in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

You'll ensure the effective delivery and continuity of technical training related to the maintenance of rolling stock systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Service Engineers, technicians, Rolling Stocks Suppliers), attend all supplier-led training sessions to acquire in-depth knowledge of the systems and maintenance procedures and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of developing and delivering bespoke training modules that are not covered by suppliers. These may include customer-specific procedures, safety protocols, or operational practices, but also, besides training responsibilities, you will also provide technical support to the Project Introduction (PI) team during the warranty phase of the rolling stock projects, contributing to issue resolution, feedback collection, and continuous improvement of training materials and maintenance practices.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Attend all training sessions delivered by suppliers during the initial phase of the project.

  • Document and replicate these training sessions for future delivery to the end customer.

  • Design, prepare, and deliver specific training content not provided by suppliers.

  • Adapt training materials to meet customer and project-specific requirements.

  • Provide support to the Commissioning (PI) team during the warranty phase of rolling stock projects.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials and methodologies.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent).

  • Previous experience in maintenance and/or product introduction (Warranty) activities

  • Experience in technical training or knowledge transfer.

  • Willingness to travel. In an initial phase, it will be necessary to make frequent trips to the Catalonia area to become familiar with the rolling stock at our Barcelona factory and to participate in and deliver the first training sessions.
