Your future role  

Take on a new challenge and apply your project execution expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.  

You'll drive project execution, maximizing the results with respect to cash and margin whilst delivering on time, in conformity with the contract Charter according to Customer expectations and the requirements of EHS. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Customer, Project Office, Legal, Finance, Tax, Project Team and Line Managers), plan and manage the complete execution of his/her scope from transfer to close out, in line with Contract charter requirements and much more.  

You’ll specifically take care of seeking and proposing to the Customer Director/Project Director additional opportunities in the frame of the contract  Charter, but also ensuring Alstom Transport legal and contractual rights are protected, but also Lead a project team, including a Core Team and when applicable Project Managers of internal and external partners (PMs within UTE).

We’ll look to you for:  

  • Perform project management and contract administration according to Alstom Project Management Manual (PMM), including proactive risk and opportunity management, and in full compliance with E&C rules. 

  • Ensure completion of Project Performance goals to meet business objectives and customer satisfaction. 

  • Responsible and accountable for the Project Profit and Loss 

  • Ensure optimal quality of project execution and reviews. 

  • Ensure that critical aspects are identified in reviews and proactively / professionally addressed and followed up. 

  • Manage the situation of the project and its KPIs, and report to senior management, with transparency during the project reviews 

  • Make sure that key project stakeholders are aligned towards project goals. 

  • Represent Alstom towards Customers and when applicable external stakeholders  

  • EHS: Accountable for the proper implementation of the Alstom policy and Customer requirements by all stakeholders (internal & external) including suppliers and contractors. 

  • Performance measurements: Sales,Cash-in, working capital / unbilled (cash-curve), Gross margin/Contract margin variance, Earned value, Gate review Go on time, On-Time Delivery and Customer Satisfaction 

 

All about you  

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:  

  • University degree in Engineering or Civil Engineering.  

  • Desirable intermediate English level.  

  • Experience of 5 years in Railways signaling with Adif context, including lateral signaling, ERTMS and fixed telecommunications.  

  • Knowledge od project management processes, railway products and systems.  

  • Experience in managing wide range subcontractor companies along with several different typology of products 

  • Experience/knowledge of contract management with Spanish administration 

  • Experience/knowledge of ADIF contracts structure and Variation Orders mechanism
