Could you be the full-time Onboard HW Design Engineer we’re looking for in Madrid to join our Onboard HW  team?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your logistics expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

 

You'll The take the responsibility of technical choices to ensure the proper integration and installation of equipments of Signalling System on board of a railway vehicle. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management) and much more.

 

You’ll specifically provide support on analyzing the activities and deliverables on projects, but also achieve de Onboard HW activities:

 

  • Development of an installation technical file:
  • The quality of the installation depends on the following criteria :
      • Compliance to the installation technical constraints for the objects to be installed
      • The ease and quickness to install the objects
      • The genericity of the solutions implemented
  • The installation design development includes several phases :
    • Identification of the constraints linked with the system and the objects
    • Identification of the environment features (survey)
    • Choice of the installation concepts
    • Choice of the installation components (connectors, supports, conduits, etc)
    • Drawings / schematics composition
    • Development of the methods statements
    • Follow-up of the execution on a first installation (FoC) and adjustments
    • Technical follow-up during the roll-out
  • Write documents (installation files) allowing to distribute the technical information for execution teams on field.
  • Coordinate the stakeholders participating in the installation technical file (designers, engineers, project managers) in order to organize the activities
  • Provide support to tender activity for installation for the signaling systems.
  • Technical support for the answer to the customer specification concerning installation.
  • Participate to the development of tools and methods linked with installation design and field operation activities, in order to improve the global process.

  • Education : Engineering Degree (Master equivalent or above) within a technical knowledges: electricity, electronics, electro-mechanics or equivalent experience in industrial environment.
  • Experience:2-5 years with internal experience as On-Board Railways Engineer o similar in other markets.
  • Language skills : Good knowledge of English language allowing to collaborate within a technical world in an international context.
  • French is valuable.
