Could you be the full-time Maintenance Engineer in Madrid - Fuencarral Site we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your Maintenance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll manage preventative and corrective teams of the depot to meet the objectives established by the management. alongside outstanding teammates.

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business Engineering, Design, Quality, Supply Chain and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of visits and commercial services planification but also support  the management of technical activities, based on the objectives of QCD and contractual indicators, and follow up  of  correct development and application of the Maintenance Planwork.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Verify the correct development and application of the Maintenance Plan, proposing improvements.
  • Detect needs in the workshop and propose improvements
  • Monitoring and analysis of technical problems.
  • Ensure the achievement of service quality indicators.
  • Implement the actions defined in the Technical Committees.
  • Provide technical support to the workshop and prepare technical reports of breakdowns.
  • Collaborate to the implementation of the improvements.
  • Ensure that the Project calibration plan is met, managing the calibration of the necessary equipment
  • Collaborate to the implementation of new tools for maintenance execution.
  • Creation and follow-up of KPIs and reports for activity metrics.
  • Collaborate to organize department operations and procedures.
  • Improve the management of the team through guidance, training, advice and assignment of responsibilities to the team.
  • Ensure a comfortable work environment and develop opportunities for personal and professional growth for all team members.
  • Collaborate to Continuous Improvement.
  • Contribute to the team's effort to achieve results if necessary.
  • Comply with Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational health regulations.
  • Support visits and commercial services planification.
  • Notify incidents / near misses that affect Railway Safety to its hierarchical superior and EHS managers.

  • Minimum of  1,5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance
  • Desirable Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Organization Engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of the Rail industry preferably within a maintenance environment
  • Knowledge of general tools: Office suite in advance level and MS Project is required. Excel macros programming in Visual Basic desired.
  • Knowledge in SAP ERP system - user level
  • English speaker - medium level
  • Knowledge of Process improvement desired
