Purpose of the job:
-
Manage the team in charge to meet the objectives established by the management.
-
Ensure the delivery of the fleet in charge. Ensure that the production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are achieved through the execution of the production plan and through the efficient management of resources.
-
Support for the management of technical activities, based on the objectives of SQCD and contractual indicators, lead the team through continuous improvement plan, follow up of the correct development and application of the Maintenance Plan and contribute to the achievement of customer satisfaction.

Accountabilities:
Manage the team in charge according to the following guidelines:

Delivery of the fleet in charge.
-
Verify the correct development and application of the Maintenance Plan, proposing improvements.
-
Apply and improve the standard maintenance processes with the established quality.
-
Follow-up of the execution of activities in the workshop and validate them to allow the train to leave the depot.
-
Monitor and control Production output on a shift-by-shift basis and day-by-day basis.
-
Detect needs in the workshop and propose improvements.
-
Manage improvement proposals.
-
Monitoring and analysis of technical problems.
-
Assurance of the objective of contractual reliability and availability indicators/commitments.
-
Ensure the achievement of service quality indicators.
-
Implement the actions defined in the Technical Committees.
-
Provide technical support to the workshop and prepare technical reports of breakdowns.
-
Apply Continuous Improvement and promote its culture.
-
Monitoring and improvement of SQCDP KPIs.
-
Ensure the overall management and development of team members.
-
Ensure a comfortable work environment and develop opportunities for personal and professional growth for all team members.

Manage service orders and training/qualifications needs, using company tools: GSI, SES, ALPS, SNOW, etc.
-
Contribute to the team's effort to achieve results if necessary.

Comply with Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational health regulations.

EHS: notify incidents / near misses that affect Railway Safety to its hierarchical superior and EHS managers; realization of monthly IGP´s and VOS; realization and participation in accident investigation; proposal of measures to improve the safety and environment of the workshop.

SAFETY RAILWAY:
Ensure the correct completion of work orders to give the "fitness for service".
- Assigns the performance of security operations ensuring that the assigned personnel have the required competence, as the case may be.
- Notifies any technical danger to his hierarchical superior according to the procedure defined by the management system.
- Ensures the correct execution of maintenance operations (carrying out special supervision in railway safety brand operations).
- Communicates any incident related to railway safety to their superior.
- Carrying out and participating in accident investigation
- Proposal of measures to improve security
- Ensures the correct execution of maintenance security operations.
Measurement

Contractual indicators of the projects assigned to their responsibility. Mainly focus on Availability, Reliability and train performance.

Objectives established annually according to compliance with performance indicators for standard works and compliance with contractual objectives.

Educational Requirements:
Mandatory:
- Professional Education in Railway Maintenance with at least 10 years of experience in railway maintenance, including a minimum of 2 years as a Maintenance Supervisor
-
If with a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar: minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance (mechanical/electrical), including at least 1,5 years in railway industry (preferably within a maintenance environment)
-
If with a Professional Education in Railway Maintenance or training in mechanics, mechatronics, electricity, electronics, automotive/propelled vehicles or similar: at least 10 years of experience in railway maintenance, including a minimum of 2 years as a Maintenance Supervisor

Valuable experience in a position with responsibility in the management of people and work teams.
Desirable:

Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar (Electrical, Electronical o Mechanical Engineering)

Fluency in English is mandatory

Fluency in French is valuable
