Could you be the full-time IXL V&V Designer in Madrid we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your signalling expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

You'll organize and lead project Verification, Integration and Test activities to ensure the delivery of a complete, correct and accurate Customer Solution in line with Project contractual requirements: documents, hardware, software and data. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering), define and execute for the global project solution, including all system interfaces, all the V-cycle activities related with in-house validation (Verification, Integration, Testing) and site functional tests and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of applying the technical policy defined by the platform (if any)

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensure the application and adherence to the reference processes methods and tools, requesting waivers whenever appropriate
  • Organize the Kick off meetings with Project Design team for input document verification, subsystem and system testing
  • Write the project Verification and Validation plan
  • Manage the Requirement Validation Table (RVT), co-ordinating the importation of requirements from design team, and exporting and importing the requirements (e.g. safety reqs. from Safety team and reqs. validation to T&C for site testing).
  • Co-ordinate and monitor project Verification, Integration and Test activities
  • Ensure the coverage of requirements all along the project, ensuring that testing (via various means) provides a full coverage to guarantee a correct implementation of the requirements : functional requirements and safety requirements
  • Perform full verification or validation of all parameters and data produced on the project
  • Organise and lead verification and validation documents reviews
  • Write the project solution verification and test reports
  • Ensure independence of verifiers from authors of the verified deliverables
  • For the functional requirements to be tested on site, define test specifications, perform the tests and report results after analysis
  • Provide the required reports as defined by TIS Processes and/or specifically required by the Project, e.g. change request reporting, etc.

  • Minimum 3 years working with IXL and ICC systems preferably in design, integration or testing teams.
  • Deep knowledge of Railway signalling principles and IXL subsystem architecture
  • Experience on requirement management methodology and tools (Clear Quest, IBM Rational DOORS, Reqtify, etc.)
  • Pro-active to perform tests beyond formal procedure, debug possible faults and report them to responsible within the organization.
  • Self-motivated to improve knowledge on systems by own initiative or interacting with system engineers.
  • Spanish: fluent level both written and spoken is essential to fulfil this position’s demands.
