Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your HR management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside experienced and proactive teammates.

 

You'll act as an effective Business Partner by developing and implementing strategic and operational HR solutions within the framework of ALSTOM HR Strategy, could be also as an extension Alstom Operations through product lines to achieve business Quality, Cost and Delivery targets. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (HRBP, Managers, Employees), be responsible for the deployment in an optimized manner the HR policies & processes for the Unit in line with the ALSTOM HR guidelines and much more.

 

You’ll specifically take care of being a change agent to support ongoing organisational and cultural changes.

 

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

-Support development & drive implementation of Global HR strategy at a Country/Site or site level in line with the (local) Business strategy

-Develop and ensure efficient implementation of global and local HR processes, policies and tools at a Country/Site level

-Support, coach and counsel Line and Senior Management in all HR related matters, e.g. concerning HR processes and tools, leadership and organizational change and development

-Mobility: Counsel Line and Senior Management and ensure efficient local implementation (coordination, compliance) on global mobility and delegation, applying the respective policies (LTAP, STAP, Local Plus)

-Close cooperation with internal (e.g. Global HR Management, Payroll) and external interfaces

-Champions the ALSTOM Code of Ethics and Values, promotes the interests and image of the company

-Works closely with Employee services and contributes to the development and implementation of Country/Site HR Policies, in line with its business plans & requirements and ALSTOM HR Policy.

-Analyze HR data so as to address issues pertaining to attrition, staffing, employee performance, training
HR Processes

-Implements with the support from Employee Services, leads and monitors all HR processes for the defined client group (e.g. performance management process, salary review process, development, separation).

-Provides coordination and support for management and employees to implement ALSTOM People Management Cycle (PMC) and self-service local deployment; ensures accuracy and timeliness of records.

-Provides process follow-up and support, especially in terms of training and development planning collectively and individually.

-Planning and Budgeting

-Works out detailed HC budget and respect personnel cost budget and training cost for his/her scope.

-Responsibility to ensure periodic Work Force Planning, 3 Year Plan, Budget Reviews for scope

-Lead the recruitment process including job description and candidate profiles for all positions with active methods of winning over qualified people.

-Follow business and local procedures regarding recruitment approvals

-Lead employment process in line with legal requirements and ALSTOM procedures

-Ensure local headcount reporting and administrative record accuracy in ALPS

 

People Management Cycle


-Drive people management processes (objective setting, development and improvement planning, know-how assessment, performance management, succession planning), facilitate & support management and employees in the implementation of the ALSTOM People Management cycle

-Support and advise Line and Sr. Management concerning disciplinary actions, counsel on aspects of local regulations and labor laws

-Propose and validate compensation reviews (salary and bonus) and promotions

-Manage & facilitate Internal Mobility actions, growth within the organization (Alstom Level changes Viz promotions etc)

-Industrial relationship & local legal regulation

-Maintain adherence to local statutory compliance norms

-Action with the support from Employee Services the legal proceedings, disciplinary actions as and when required for the Unit

-Support in maintaining a constructive social relationship and environment

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: 

 

-University degree, majoring in human resources, psychology, business studies, social science or economy

-Minimum 5 year in a similar role as HR generalist in a Professional / Multinational / Multicultural environment; in-depth HR experience/knowledge

-Good knowledge of the local labor laws

-Experience of HR operational aspects (Talent availability, Salary & Benefit, Legal/Labour Compliance, Income Tax, Social Context)

-Working knowledge and experience in recruitment and selection, staff planning and labor cost budgeting skills

-Solid understanding, knowledge & experience in HR Management tools, policies, processes & best practices

-Experience in industry. Transport or Railway sector is a plus

-Languages: Spanish and English



Desirable:

 

-Understanding of financial concepts relevant to business P&L, Balance Sheet

-Knowledge of region HR practices, key talent pool sources in region with competition

-Exposure to various international delegation methodologies and assignment of staff

-Exposure to People Soft and/or SAP locally used HR systems and tools
