Purpose of The Role

  •  Anticipate business opportunities in the Cluster to feed platform roadmaps
  •  Be accountable of the commitment for cybersecurity in tender
  •  Ensure deployment and implementation of Cybersecurity within Regionthe Cluster


Detailed Responsibilities

  • Review opportunities for its Cluster to ensure anticipation and qualification of cybersecurity tender requirements (starting with the FIND phase)
  • Support (documentation, guidance, awareness, …) marketing and pre-tendering activities in its Cluster
  • Work with platform cybersecurity managers to ensure integration of Cluster relevant requirements in products & solutions roadmaps
  • Drive the tenders for cybersecurity, review and validate cybersecurity related topics. Ensure cybersecurity topic readiness for TDR
  • Organize the deployment of cybersecurity awareness and strategy to tender and project stakeholders (tender teams, contract mgt, development & deployment, architects, testers, safety …)
  • Review cyber deliverables from key Projects (Cyber Security Management Plan, Cyber Security Threats & risk analysis, Cyber Security Reports, Cybersecurity design document)
  • Build and maintain a status on project in his/her Cluster
  • Ensure Cluster regulation and normative watch, participate to conferences, norms & standards committee
  • Contribute to Cybersecurity process and standard definition
  • Contribute to cyber trend watch (new threats, new techno, ...)
  • Support COS / COTS Supplier Cybersecurity assessment (in his/her Cluster)
  • Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Performance measurements:

  • Readiness of Cybersecurity topic at TDR.
  • Relevancy of Cybersecurity proposal versus Platforms Cybersecurity available features and roadmaps
  • Cluster global Cybersecurity awareness level
  • Cluster regulation and normative watch

Competencies & Experience

 University/ Engineer in degree level      


Cybersecurity certification such as:  GICSP, CISSP, GSEC, CISM



Experience in information technology and security

Experience in Tender and/or Contract  execution Desirable:        

Knowledgeable of railways business

Knowledge of Alstom Products & Solution portfolio


Competencies & Skills 

Experience related to Cybersecurity implementation in general

Knowledge of  main standards and regulations, such as: ISO 2700X, 62443, NIST, NIS

Knowledge of the security market and its key players

Knowledge of Methods of Cybersecurity Risk Analysis

Knowledge of the main techniques for evaluating Systems security

Knowledge of Vulnerability Management and Maintenance in Security Condition

Dynamic, autonomous. Creativity and ability to work in a complex environment
