Your Role: 

As a CBTC System Engineer you will have in your responsibilities

• Requirement management for signaling solutions
• Act as a Technical lead for customer and internal subsystems.
• Provide scheduling and cost estimates on project engineering planning.
• Provide technical expertise in support of other departments and less experienced engineering personnel.

Your Challenges: 

• Reviews technical specifications. Provide estimates for costs and Scheduling inside a project. Train less experienced engineers, giving the required support, based on his expertise and experience. Work on high level of quality.
• Designs and develop system solutions. Develops safety, reliability and maintainability approaches. Looks for an optimum design approach.
• Tests, demonstrates and documents product level designs, develops test procedures, leads design, delegates work to other team members.
• Provides technical expertise in support of other Engineering and ITC teams, including field support.
• Keep continuous and close contact with EAPD and other Regions to ensure alignment of every present and future technical evolution.  

Qualifications:

• Computer Engineer, Communications Engineer or Electrical Engineer Degree
• Experience in signalling and software development
• Experienced in multi-site projects.
• Trouble shooting skills on an integrated system.
• Technical orientation.
• CENELEC & ISO normative
• Good knowledge of concepts and procedures applicable for product development.
• Able to provide suggestions for improvements in products / projects.
