Could you be the full-time Process Engineer (Mechanical Fitting) in Madhepura (Bihar) we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your methodical and precision-driven expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, committed, and collaborative teammates.

You'll define and validate the detailed manufacturing process for new products, contributing to the advancement of our manufacturing excellence. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Product Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Industrial Quality), drive continuous improvement actions and industrialize product and process changes.

You’ll specifically take care of performing industrial documentation, defining industrial master data, and setting the manufacturing method time, but also industrializing retrofit after engineering changes.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Bringing ideas to the PIM to guide product definition, improving manufacturability and achieving QCD targets

  • Participating in product design reviews and P-FMEA

  • Estimating and calculating precise Method Time

  • Requesting tooling and writing tooling specifications

  • Performing ERP routings, Work Instructions, Inspection Instructions, and programming for CNC machines

  • Validating product design and industrialization through FAR and FAI

  • Supporting Production to achieve manufacturing QCD targets and contributing to industrial REX on manufacturing processes


All about you

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.)

  • Process Manufacturing Engineering experience of 4-7 years, preferably in the railway industry

  • Technical knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, line balancing

  • Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up

  • Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards and Ergonomics

  • Familiarity with IS common tools and Process FMEA, QRQC

  • Proficiency in time analysis (MTM, MEK, UAS)

  • Conscientiousness with a commitment to delivery

  • Team player with a spirit of “Team Trust Action”

  • Decisiveness with the ability to obtain and use necessary information to make decisions

  • Self-motivation and logical organization skills

  • Effective communication abilities
