OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Quality Inspector conducts activities within the scope of its sector to ensure product compliance and contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality level achieved.
He is also responsible for supporting the manufacturing team to achieve First time right.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guarantee the conformity of products manufactured as per specification.
- Respect Quality standards/process defined. (control plan, Control Sheets)
- Problem solving: Responsiveness and effectiveness
- Deploying quality standards inline with Alstom System.
Qualifications & Skills:
EDUCATION
- B.E/B. Tech (Mech/Elect.)/Degree with 3-7 years of experience in automobile/railway industry.
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:
- Team Player.
- Agile
- Analytical
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
- Has knowledge of assembly process.
- Well versed with problem solving tools.
- Working in a manufacturing industry, preferably in assembly shop and having torqueing Experience.
- Knowledge of quality tools, Kaizen, Poka Yoke, is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO/TS and PFMEA.
EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET
- Understanding of engineering drawings.
- Understanding of history book/Log book/Checksheet.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English language,
- IT Skills: MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),SAP
- Experience in Process/Plant Quality, working alongside Manufacturing.
Knowledge of Catia, SPC, MSA & SAP ERP will be an added advntage.
