The position is integrated into the Digital and Integrated Systems (D&IS) organization, in charge of designing and delivering intelligent solutions for railway applications

 

WHAT IS YOUR MISSION? 

Within the D&IS France Industrialisation department, you are in charge of coordinating the actions of all stakeholders (design, industrialisation, purchasing, supply-chain, etc.) contributing to the treatment and monitoring of electronic components obsolescence to ensure the continuity of productions and repairs.

These actions are of two kinds:

  • Before component obsolescence announcements: ensure the implementation of monitoring and anticipation actions at product design level (internal or external designs)
  • In case of obsolescence announcement: ensure analysis and processing by all stakeholders, defining and managing the treatment schedule

 

WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?

Manage the obsolescence committee on your product portfolio

  • Ensure the processing of all obsolescence alerts for any impacted products
  • Coordinate engineering, industrial and supply-chain actions
  • Challenge product lines to limit inventory value of obsolete components
  • Manage and present the obsolescence strategy at management level

 

Manage obsolete inventories :

  • Monitor reservations and consumption
  • Modelize stock flows and anticipate risks of breakdowns
  • In connection with Purchasing, manage actions to buy or resell obsolete components
  • Monitor by KPI and be part of a continuous improvement process

 

Define methods of stock monitoring and optimization:

  • Ensure a synthetic analysis and feedback of the evolution of stocks and their use
  • Ensure data quality and consistency
  • Optimize inventory and relationship management with our subcontractors and suppliers

 

WHAT IS YOUR PROFILE?

  • General engineer
  • Experience in Industrial Operations, Industrialization or Supply Chain in the field of electronics
  • Competencies in:
    • Functional management of multidisciplinary teams
    • Data management and reporting
  • English read, written, spoken
  • Leadership, autonomy, agility and the ability to evolve in a complex environment
