Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive locomotive operations and supervisory expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, knowledgeable, and dynamic teammates. You'll provide crucial leadership and ensure the safe, efficient operation of our locomotives and trains, making a significant impact on our service delivery and safety standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project & Bid Management, Safety, Training, and Compliance), mentor and oversee our locomotive engineers and conductors, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

Monitoring employees for compliance with regulations and operating practices,
-
Initiating action for non-compliance in a consistent and fair manner,
-
Managing employees and train operations to optimize On-Time Performance (OTP) and making recommendations to improve performance,
-
Responding to service disruptions within your area of responsibility,
-
Enforcing safety plans and maintaining a thorough understanding of operating, PTC, and safety rules,
-
Providing comprehensive written and oral reports

Degree in Transportation, Business or related field or equivalent work experience.,

Experience or understanding of supervisory roles within an FRA regulated railroad environment.,

Knowledge of FRA Regulations on Operating rules GCOR, Timetable and Special Instructions.,

Familiarity with the physical layout and operation of the Authority’s rail system.,
-
Locomotive Engineer Certification.

Pay Range:
$110,000.00 to $140,000.00 depending on experience/qualifications.
This position is eligible for Railroad Retirement.
