Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your multidisciplinary and polyvalent expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll contribute to the successful execution of the Automated People Mover System at LAX by participating in the on-site testing and commissioning activities for advanced communication systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including SIG, Vehicle, Network, Intrusion Detection, Equipment Control and Monitoring), perform testing and reporting activities, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

Participating in the writing of the T&C and operating procedures for allocated sub-systems,
-
Performing testing and reporting activities in line with safety and quality standards,
-
Engaging in integration tests between COM Systems and other systems with stakeholders,
-
Conducting preliminary investigations and LOG analysis for faults during site testing,
-
Leading the consolidation of test records for the official test report preparation,
-
Providing daily support to the COM T&C Leader for task management,
-
Collaborating with off-shore experts for troubleshooting and identifying root causes,
-
Proposing containment and sustainable solutions with product team support,
-
Ensuring compliance with EHS Golden rules during T&C activities,
-
Maintaining effective communication with the T&C community, engineers, and experts"

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network, Radio, Industrial systems Engineering or related field or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of the degree.,

Experience or understanding of testing and commissioning in a multidisciplinary environment.,

Knowledge of electrical cabling drawings and diagrams.,

Familiarity with LANs, WANs, network routers, firewall, and TCP-IP technologies.,

Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on network equipment configuration and troubleshooting.,

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.,
-
Ability to work autonomously and in a team, with a thorough and curious approach to tasks.,

Adaptability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.,

Resilience and a continuous learning mindset with an interest in the rail industry.,
-
Willingness to work in shifts and/or weekends when required.

Salary Range:
- $95,000 - $115,000 USD
