Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive rail operations expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, collaborative, and knowledgeable teammates. You'll lead the charge in enhancing safety and on-time performance for our rail services, directly contributing to minimizing passenger delays and stakeholder disruptions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project & Bid Management, Information Technology, Training Rules Compliance, SCRRA Operations, Dispatch), coordinate with managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors in developing the annual operational scope and budget, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

Oversight of locomotive engineers, conductors, and related management staff,

Ensuring safety and on-time performance for all train services,

Proactive management of operations to minimize passenger delays,

Coordination with IT and Training Rules Compliance for seamless operations,

Management of budgets and delivery of services within financial constraints

Degree in Transportation, or related field—or equivalent experience,

Experience or understanding of multi-line commuter operations and management within a host and tenant framework,

Knowledge of FRA, FTA, CPUC, and other state and local regulations,

Familiarity with Positive Train Control and its applications to improve safety and efficiency

Salary Range:
$108,000.00 to $162,000.00 depending on experience/qualifications.
This position is eligible for Railroad Retirement.
