Could you be the Rolling Stock Maintenance Technician - Electrical in Lilyfield we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your maintenance expertise in a new cutting-edge field in our Services business. You’ll work alongside ambitious, driven and enthusiastic teammates and support the maintenance and repair of the Rolling Stock and its associated equipment under the Scope of the Rolling Stock team at the Randwick Sydney Light Rail depot in Lilyfield, NSW. Day-to-day, you’ll also be responsible for organising labour and materials as needed to enable the completion of the team's duties in accordance with specified procedures and regulations and the companies Quality, Health & Safety procedures. As per the EBA, this role is a level 3 and you'll receive a base pay rate of $46.15 per hour. We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Carrying out routine examinations, fault finding, interrogation and diagnostic testing on tram equipment installed on Sydney LR system
  • Actively maintaining and repairing tram equipment installed on Sydney LR system
  • Following all established safety procedures, good housekeeping practices and utilising safety equipment as required
  • Reporting daily, weekly on activities, problems found and measures taken
  • Liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors.

 

All about you

We are seeking a ambitious, driven and team-spirited individual who is passionate about problem solving. You will also have

 

  • A certificate III Electrical Trade
  • Good trouble shooting skills with demonstrated experience in a similar role 
  • Experience in maintenance activities in a similar environment with railway industry experience (not essential) 
  • A team player attitude and commercially minded and customer focused.
