Manage the competitiveness of the Bogies solutions under the responsibility of the Bogies and Drives Product Manager

Overall mission:
Related to Reference Solutions & Libraries lead at CDS level, support Product Manager & Animate the yearly improvement plan aiming to
. decrease cost basis (redesign to cost, localization, double sourcing) whatever the PIO
. increase product reliability
. add features
. solve actual product CONQ issues

Main Responsibilities

  • In line with the Product Roadmaps managed by the Product Managers, contribute to define the actions plan, identify the maturity level and formalize them with the relevant bridge with the support of product manager and competitiveness director
  • Consolidate business cases with all relevant data (quantity, planning, ROI and application rank, NRC, RC, …), review planning, milestones and project application (WP sheets)
  • Implement/Monitor/challenge the Actions plans & ensure deadlines are met
  • Ensure the correct application of the validation plans to implement the improvement actions according to the applicable standards & therefor manage the application of DFQ Process when relevant
  • Support the Product Standardization and Competitiveness Manager of the Product Family Bogies and Drives to prepare the regular reviews
  • Manage and follow the budget for improvement allocated yearly


Educational Requirements (Mandatory)

  • Master of engineering in mechanics or equivalent from Educational degree
  • Business fluent in French & English language (mini B2)

Experience (Desirable)

  • Up to 3 years of experience in Project Management or engineering or production
