About the role
As a Finance Project Manager, you will be a trusted financial partner to senior leaders and project teams across the AMECA region. You will play a key role in driving financial performance, transparency, and reliable forecasting for a diverse portfolio of S&I projects.
Working closely with the S&I Managing Director, Portfolio Directors, and Project Directors, you will help turn complex financial data into clear insights that support strong decision‑making and successful project delivery.
This role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional who enjoys project environments, collaboration, and influencing outcomes in an international setting.
What you will do
Your responsibilities will evolve with business needs. Key accountabilities include:
Project finance partnership
- Act as a finance business partner to project teams, supporting project reviews and performance discussions.
- Provide financial and commercial guidance to Project Directors to support informed decision‑making.
Financial consolidation & reporting
- Lead financial consolidation for projects, including periodic consolidated Project Reviews.
- Coordinate financial inputs across all Alstom partners involved in the projects.
- Ensure data consistency and reconciliation across ERP systems for both onshore and offshore scopes.
Forecasting & performance management
- Drive monthly and annual forecasting for the S&I portfolio, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and transparency.
- Maintain full visibility of financial movements and performance drivers.
Risk & opportunity management
- Support correct identification, valuation, and reporting of risks and opportunities.
- Ensure alignment with financial and project governance standards.
Cross‑functional collaboration
- Manage interfaces with expert functions such as Tax, Treasury, Insurance, and Contract Management.
- Provide ad‑hoc finance support to country teams for FPRs, QPRs, budgets, and forecast cycles (F0, F1).
Capability & process support
- Support local FPMs with project setup, financial tools, and processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and best‑practice sharing across the finance community
