Could you be the full-time Requirements Management Engineer in La Rochelle we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge, dynamic, and innovative field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates who share a vision of excellence and positive impact.

You'll play a key role in ensuring that delivered products meet contractual and stakeholder requirements, managing configuration elements, and maintaining the integrity of the "As Sold" baseline. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, such as Train Performance Managers, Project Engineering Managers, and Discipline Leaders, as well as external stakeholders like customers and suppliers. You’ll also provide valuable support and training on requirements management processes, methodologies, and tools, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of implementing global requirements management processes for tenders, execution contracts, and product development projects, but also supporting governance and coordination in complex projects.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Supporting engineers in their requirements development activities

  • Ensuring the quality and consistency of data in the requirements management database

  • Managing requirements changes and configuration

  • Contributing to the Requirements Management Engineers (RME) network

  • Supporting the application of Configuration Baseline Missions & Trade-Off processes

  • Maintaining requirements traceability from source requirements to supplier requirements

  • Leading change management efforts during the transition to DOORS Convergence, including creating educational materials, organizing information sessions, and conducting practical workshops

  • Providing regular reporting to sponsors and managers and adapting actions based on feedback and KPIs

  • Participating in the management of tool and process evolutions and capitalizing on lessons learned to improve change management practices

  • Degree in engineering

  • At least three (3) years of experience in engineering

  • Practical experience working on projects at various stages of the project lifecycle

  • Experience using database solutions for requirements management (e.g., DOORS)

  • Conceptual knowledge of systems engineering/integration

  • Strong technical writing skills, including drafting and formalizing requirements

  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)

  • Experience working with teams distributed across multiple sites and cultures
