Alstom Digital Services is ensuring for the Alstom businesses and customers the build and support of a large portfolio of business solutions in several functional areas.

 

The IS&T Local Operations Expert reports to the IS&T Business Partner (local IT director) and is accountable for running & maintaining all services and infrastructures in the site portfolio.

 

He/She is the main contact for all IT related topics bringing together central IT and site/country business teams, supporting the execution of centrally and locally driven projects, and ensuring local services in IT operations in La Rochelle site

Your future role

 

You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing user satisfaction by driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring seamless IT operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with central teams, local service partners, and various business units to ensure smooth delivery of IT services, promote global solutions, and support change management initiatives.

 

You’ll specifically take care of consolidating user feedback and qualifying new local demands for digital services, but also ensuring compliance with audit and internal control processes.

 

Your mission

 

  • Contributing to user satisfaction, including implementing mitigation and improvement plans in collaboration with central teams
  • Supporting IS&T scope for audit and internal control questionnaire (ICQ) processes
  • Consolidating feedback and requirements from users and escalating them to the relevant IS&T organization
  • Qualifying and managing new local demands for digital services
  • Assisting in procuring necessary IT consumables and equipment
  • Promoting global services and solutions and ensuring regular communication with stakeholders
  • Guiding site users in understanding the IT offerings
  • Coordinating IT local operations with involved business teams and partners
  • Overseeing and managing local service partners to ensure service excellence

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience or understanding of IT service management and change management processes
  • Knowledge of IT landscapes, including applications, hosting, and local networks
  • Familiarity with matrix organizations and cross-functional collaboration
  • A certification in ITIL or a similar service management framework
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Analytical skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively
  • A pragmatic mindset and a hands-on attitude to problem-solving
