Join us as Quality Management System Engineer, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in  La Pocatiere (QC), CA.

 

The Quality Management System (QMS) Engineer/Professional plans, integrates, develops, maintains and monitors application of the Alstom integrated management system. He/She assure the integrity of the processes, governance of the process and deliverables.

  • He/She is mandated to the monitoring of critical processes.
  • The QMS Engineer/Professional supports other functions in the development of processes and monitor and support all functions in the closing of corrective and preventive actions and drive for continuous improvement.
  • The QMS enables the functions and management to maintain certifications, e.g. IRIS, ISO,… and support the respective management representative acc. Quality standards.
  • He/She acts as independent Quality Assurance of projects.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The support to all functions for the management of corrective and preventive actions, as well as the consolidation and reporting of it.
  • Support the maintenance of ISO 9001, IRIS and other relevant certification for all sites in the area of responsibility (BU/region/division) including the local application of the BT Group Quality Policy.
  • Conducts internal audits in the site/BU/region/division
  • Report of process performance and process maturity assessment, including KPI reports (CARs, time to close open items, …) and management summary.
  • Support the evolution, improvement and deployment of BT Integrated Business Processes for the area of responsibility (site/BU/region/division):
  • Verify processes of all functions with only local focus
  • Ensure consistency of local process development with division/Group wide process development, aligned with the divisional coordinator
  • Facilitate integration of local process documentation into the global system
  • Review process documentation of other functions on behalf of Quality
  • Contribute to the development of process documentation owned by the Quality Function
  • Supervise local process deployment and awareness by all functions

 

REQUIRED PROFILE:

 

Education

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Relevant experience required (i.e. directly linked to the requirements of the position/role)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience post graduate
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
  • International working experience
  • Has experience with ISO std (IRIS)

Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role

  • Typically 3 – 5 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • IRIS, ISO 9001,Value Chain, other relevant standards, such as OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, EMAS.
  • Certification process of relevant standards
  • Quality or HSE management experience and (internal) auditor experience
  • Audit experience (internal)
