Join us as a Methods Technician/Engineer (tool designer), and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in La Pocatiere, Quebec.


As a Methods Technician/Engineer (tool designer), you will design and plan tools and accessories according to project requirements and deadlines.


Your responsibilities will include: 


  • Create technical documentation and user manuals in accordance with industry standards and legislation focusing on occupational health, safety and environment;
  • Manage the storage of tools and equipment. Manage spare parts for tools and equipment;
  • Participate in the certification process for equipment and tools;
  • Schedule tooling hours for new tool design or for checks, repairs and calibration.



Key requirements:


  • Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, tool design option or equivalent;
  • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a similar position;
  • Knowledge of fundamental theories, principles and concepts related to tooling design and mechanical assembly;
  • Basic knowledge of welding, an asset;
  • Excellent French communication skills, advanced both written and spoken and basic knowledge in English.
