Join us as an Automation Technician, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in La Pocatiere, Quebec.


As an Automation Technician, you will support the development, installation, operation and maintenance of robotic and automated equipment as well as electronic devices.


Your responsibilities will include: 


  • Provide assistance to maintenance employees to perform electrical and mechanical repairs to production and laboratory equipment;
  • Program robots, PLC, HMI and ensures compliance with standards, specifications, and requirements;
  • Write all the documents relating to the preventive maintenance of production equipment and updates the documentation;
  • Provide technical advice on manufacturing process involving robotized equipment such as welding and bonding;
  • Participate in the analysis of new equipment or device and support their installation.


Key requirements:


  • More than three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment;
  • Knowledge of automation good practice, major automation software and other machinery programming languages;
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as welding and bonding will be considered an asset;
  • Have skills in programming with different programming languages: ladder, structured text, C, python;
  • Excellent  French communication skills, advanced both written and spoken. English will be considered an asset
