Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your project finance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll reporting to Country Finance Manager, and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammate You'll leads finances for projects to improve the project overall performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely wi Project Manager and teams across the business as a key member of the project to provides financial analysi advice and guidance to support the project team in making the best business decisions for the project and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of financial strategy success of the project, supports Project Manager in risks opportunities process and sign-off contingencies or committed savings, but also part of the finance and covers the entire project lifecycle, i.e. acquisition, bidding and exec 

 

We'll look to you for 

  • Participate in overall Project Management process jointly with Project Manager.
  • Main partner for the Financial Strategy success of the project.
  • Business partnering by providing fi nance advise and tutoring to the project team.
  • Supervision, analysis and support for overall fi nance topics of the project.
  • Control the fi nancial performance of the project and propose acti on plans to improve contract margin and cashprofi le as well as correcti ve acti on plans to miti gate identi fi ed risks.
  • Raised "Early Warnings" when necessary to increase management att enti on.
  • Add insight and accuracy to project fi nancial informati on (Improve accuracy on forecasts, revenue, cash, cost,etc.).
  • Challenge and approve Project Financials (cash, competi ti veness) as per DoA.
  • Provide confi rmati on of Internal Transfer Pricing policies to procurement for the issuance of internal purchaseorders.
  • Control the interfl ows of Internal purchased orders.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulati ons, especially for tax and statutory accounts purposes.
  • Liaise with other fi nance expert functi ons (e.g. Tax and Customs, Treasury and Financing, Internal Audit & RiskManagement, Accounti ng and Finance effi ciency, etc.).
  • Cooperate with other expert functi ons (e.g. legal, platf orms, Operati onal Excellence, etc.).
  • Establish strategic network with external fi nancial players involved in the project.
  • Contribute in negoti ati on processes to secure project success (customer and / or partner).
  • Support PM in risks and opportuniti es process and sign-off conti ngencies/committ ed savings.
  • Partner with PM and CM in Contract & Claim Management (focus on fi nance topics & risks profile).
  • For partnership (consorti um or JV), ensure follow up of the fi nancial aspects in compliance with the partneragreements and alert in case of any deviati on or risk profi le for Alstom.
  • Know and understand businesses portf olio and the operati on of every business function.

  • Chartered Accountant / Chartered Public Accountant or equivalant educational qualification
  • 8 to 10 years’ experience in Finance.
  • An auditing and/or project operational background would be an advantage
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to priority
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Excel, knowledge of SAP.
