Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your welding expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of welding processes that are critical to our operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including design, production, and quality teams), provide technical support during co-development phases, and ensure compliance with welding standards, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of the qualification of welding procedures and personnel, but also support continuous improvement initiatives and audits related to welding standards.
We’ll look to you for:
-
Participating in the industrialization phase of new projects and providing technical support to the Special Process (SP) expert during co-development phases
-
Establishing qualification plans for welding procedures, welders, and operators in compliance with relevant standards
-
Assisting production by overseeing prototype and first assembly realizations until serial production
-
Addressing non-conformance reports (NCR) with effective solutions, as delegated by the SP expert
-
Conducting workstation inspections and before/during welding inspections on the shop floor
-
Monitoring daily welding processes and notifying the SP expert of any deviations
-
Performing monthly welding consumable store audits
-
Validating incoming welding wire quality and Material Test Certificates (MTC)
-
Supporting welding audits (e.g., EN 15085-2, IRIS, Maturity Assessment) within your areas of expertise
-
Driving continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) parameters and semi-automation opportunities
