Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) to a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, driven, and innovative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our people and contractors while minimizing our environmental footprint. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Human Resources, Manufacturing, and Finance), engage with local authorities and external auditors, and drive the implementation of EHS policies and strategies.
You’ll specifically take care of developing and maintaining the Site EHS Management System, as well as fostering a strong EHS culture, but also lead efforts to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
We’ll look to you for:

Driving the implementation of EHS policies and meeting Alstom’s objectives at the site level.

Advising, supporting, and coaching operational management on EHS actions and strategies.

Developing, deploying, and maintaining local EHS procedures and tools aligned with Alstom’s global standards.

Leading and developing the EHS team at the site, including induction, training, and mentoring.

Ensuring compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and company EHS requirements.

Building and implementing EHS communication and training plans.

Monitoring and reporting EHS performance, including investigating incidents and sharing lessons learned.

Organizing and leading internal EHS audits and inspections.

A degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

A Health & Safety qualification recognized by local enforcing authorities.

Experience in Environment, Health, and Safety, with at least 3 years in a similar role.

Knowledge and understanding of ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards.

Deep knowledge of local legal requirements related to EHS.

Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

Analytical thinking and a rigorous approach to problem-solving.

Proficiency in continuous improvement tools and good computer skills.

Experience in manufacturing sites or regional centers (railway experience is a plus).
