OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To look after overall maintenance of Production equipment & Machinery with utlities while adhering to EHS Standards

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent would be expected to work in 3 rotational shifts to address breakdowns, create & adhere to PM Schedule, Identify& procure spares, do projects to minimize downtime & improve OEE.Supervises manpower to perform work safely & handle shifts independently. Experienced in maintenance & troubleshooting through HMI of Crtical CNC/PLC Machines , Maintenance of Utility like  Compressors, DG  , EOT Cranes . Pumps & Accessories . Hands On Experience on Laser CuttingMachine, CNC Hyd Press Brake Machine would be given a priority.Additional experience of Shot Blasting, Paint Booths, EOT Cranes,Hoists, Manipulators ,  Chiller Units, Baking Ovens, Screw Conveyors, Pulse / MIG WeldingMachines, Plasma Cutting Machines, &  In depth understanding of Hydralulic / Pneumatic system is must , Basic understanding of power &Control Circuits will be appreciated. 
Competencies
1. Know-how of Hyd Control & Power circuits. Suggesting Improvementprojects to drive Safety, TPM, Energy Saving Pillars 
2.Encouraging Operors & Contractors to work effectively & safely & sensitize them if any deviation of safety norms 
3. Train subordinates to handle breakdowns & diagnose process related problems with RCA / CA 
4.Performs modifications to prevent breakdowns, identifies safetyhazards & eliminates them 
5.Knowledge of thorough Paint Shop accessories & utlities for safety & safe handling of welding machine knowledge to deal quality issues
6. Electrical Maintenance of HT Breaker & 2MVA Transformer
7. Troubleshoot & Diagnose Electrohydraulics & Laser Cutting

.Key Job Responsibilities
Attend breakdowns for quick resolutions, perform PM as per schedule,Ensure safety of operatives & Equipment by following safety standards.Procure, track & manage inventory of spares, keep spares prepared forbreakdown events, condition based monitoring & Time BasedMaintenance of critical equipment. Train and manage manpower in
shifts, Creating  of process related Documentation. SupportproductionFor quality related problems. Reduction of downtime andimprovement in OEE by performing improvement Projects. Reductionin operating costs by doing Energy saving initiatives & Consumable / spare cost optimisation by Cost analysis & benchmarking for optimising as well alternative buying for cos optimisation.
 

1. To understand and maintain AZDP / EHS / safety standards 

2. To lead  Breakdowns, Service, Overhaul & Repair / PM / Cotrrective Maintenance of Production & Associated Equipment with RCA & CA 

3. To collate record MTTR / MTBF / Availability / Breakdown records / Machine Health Card maintaining of Key production Machines MOM basis 

4. To Drive 5S/Six Sigma / TPM Initiatives for excel 

5. To organize and maintain spares and record their stock for Audit Purpose 

6. To maintain 5S of  Worklplace & defined area

7. To Lead a group of Associates for Day to Day Breakdown /PM/Corrective Maintenance / Running Shift Maintenance & Record Keeping in system 

8. To Have knowledge on Maintenance of Utilities  like Pumps , Compressors , DG,  Fire Pump , STP ,  and other utility equipment

9. To perform Corrective, Preventive, Predictive & Condition Based Maintenance of  Conventional Machines , EOT Cranes , SPM ( Welding /Painting /Blasting ) 

10. Maintenance & upkeeping of CNC / PLC based High End Machines ( CNC Hydraulic  Bending / CNC Laser Cutting Machines / CNC Milling MC Etc ) 

11. Spares management & consumption record keeping analysis for benchmarking and cost  optimisation 

12. Manpower utilisation recrd keeping & analysis for effective usage of Available Manpower / Resources 

13. Training & developments of Associates , Performamce Evaluation & record keeping 

Qualifications & Skills:

· Experience in Mechanical Maintenance of Medium, Heavy Industry

· Knowledge and experience  in Safety Standards such as Electrical Safety, safety in Hydraulic / Pneumatic Systems / LOTO, Work at Height, Permit to work, Hot work etc. 

· Knowledge and experience in Bearings, Pumps, Couplings, Fabrication, Welding, Gas Cutting, Wheels, Rollers Etc

• Knowledge of Hydraulics / Pneumatics systems ,Leading  maintenance in hydraulic Circuit, Laser Cutting Maintenance / CNC Bending Machine / CNC Milling machine / Paint Pumps / Blast shops 
• Computer proficient to work with CAD / MS / Power Point with - working with SAP/ARIBA for procurement of Spares will be  treated as added advantage 
• Proficienet with Liasoning with OEM / Vendors for supporting Procurement Team 
• Technical SOW prepartion / Validation of Mechanical Drawing / Having knowledge in Installation & Commissioning of New Machines / equipments also preferred 
• Having knowledge in ISO  Standrads / Experince in Facing Internal / External Audits & related Norms will be added advantage 
• Having knowledge in 5S/Six Sigma / TPM / TQC Etc. with relevant certfication if any 

EDUCATION : BE /B TECH / Equivalent Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 5 Years Experinece

  OR - Diploma Engineers with proven background In Mechanical Engineering with 10 Years of Experince 

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE 

Strong Experience in Handling Maintenance with  exposure to the  Heavy Engineering industry.

1. Having knowledge in CNC/PLC Based  Bending / Milling / Cutting Machines 

2. Knowledge of SPM , Welding Machine Maintenance , Paint Booth , Blast Booth Maintenance 

3. Having knowledge in Installation / Assembly & Dismantling of  Heavy Machines & Equipment, / Guiding Fabrication work like Welding & Gas Cutting

4. Experience in Maintenance  of DG , Compressors , Manipulators, EOT Cranes, Wire Rope, Paint Pumps, Shot Blasting, Compressor, Fittings, Pneumatic & Hydraulic Circuit

5. Experince in Maintenance of Fire Hydrant System / Sewage Treatment Plant / Material Handling Equipments like Forklift / Pallet Trucks will be  treated as added advantage
