Could you be the full-time Industrial Quality Manager in Kingston, ON we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in industrial quality management in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and driven team of professionals.
You'll play a key role in driving excellence in industrial quality processes and performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as production, engineering, and continuous improvement), lead APSYS (Alstom Production System) improvement plans, and ensure the digitalization of controls and processes using innovative solutions.
You’ll specifically take care of managing site IQ activities, including budget, people, processes, and performance, but also lead the quality animation methodology deployment aligned with our continuous improvement system.
We’ll look to you for:

Driving APSYS improvement plans for industrial quality requirements (Q09 to Q13 items)

Ensuring regular updates to Process FMEA, Control Plans, and Quality Control Plans to achieve Zero Defect objectives

Performing site-level analyses to enhance industrial quality performance

Escalating and ensuring effective treatment of anomalies detected on production lines
-
Supporting decisions for Hand Overs (GO/NO GO) with veto rights where necessary

Stopping production if mandatory safety or quality issues arise

Managing and developing the industrial quality team through training and qualification plans

Master’s degree in engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical…) or equivalent

Special Process Qualification at minimum Level 1 according to Quality Academy criteria

Experience in managing quality tools (e.g., Problem Solving, Lean Six Sigma)
-
Knowledge of industrial quality processes and standards (e.g., ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI)
-
Familiarity with matrix organizations and the ability to work under pressure
-
An international mindset with fluency in English
-
Management experience and at least 5 years of industrial experience

Strong skills in rigor, communication, and cross-functional collaboration
-
Railway experience is a plus

Compensation
The expected compensation for this role is $90,000 – $110,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
