Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your industrialization and manufacturing expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, collaborative, and innovative teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring that our manufacturing processes are optimized, our products are market-ready, and our industrial requirements align with project Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, EHS and Quality), lead industrialization activities, and ensure smooth collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Industrialize products and projects from prototype, serial to maintenance phases. Ensure data, tools and components are always available for production and repairs all along the life cycle.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deploy Signaling industrialization processes (for products and projects) and DFM rules
  • Managing industrial QCD of generic products managed on project level during all life cycle
  • Developing industrial means for product & project manufacturing and test with EHS mind-set
  • Participate in Technical Design Review (DR) and ensure industrial requirements are addressed during product design and specification phases
  • Provide and sustain Industrial maturity report per product line (definition files MR, test First Passed Yield per phase, failure rate at first installation, production cost, industrial scheme, lead time)
  • Review electrical diagrams, rack schematics, cable lists, and integration drawings to validate accuracy
  • Coordinate with Engineering on ECOs, design changes, and technical clarifications
  • Define routing principles, wiring segmentation, cable tray & harness approaches
  • Validate interface points between racks, power subsystem, and telecom equipment
  • Provide technical support to Methods for WI, MBOM, layout, workstations and tooling decisions
  • Guarantee the application of the Manufacturing (DFM) and test Rules (DFT) and repairs requirements
  • Manage industrial risk through Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA) and associated improvement action plan
  • Support Sourcing and Supplier Quality teams in the suppliers’ qualification and quality follow up
  • Train the production workers and EPU managers during design and industrialization phases
  • In case of non-conformity or incident, investigate root causes, finds and implement corrective solutions


All about you

  • Engineering degree in electrical, electromechanical or mechanical is mandatory 
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering preferably for electrical products
  • 3-5 years of experience in wiring/assembly engineering, cabinet integration, electrical manufacturing engineering, signalling/telecom/automation experience is a strong asset
  • Experience with MBOM/EBOM concepts, electrical diagram interpretation, wiring, routing, cable preparation, terminal blocks and manufacturing processes in electrical assembly
  • Experience in process engineering, design, lean manufacturing, and industrial operations
  • Excellent technical problem solving
  • Proficiency in ERP tools (e.g. SAP) for Bill of Materials, routings, and configuration follow-up
  • Knowledge of CAD and Product Lifecycle Management tools (e.g. CATIA, DELMIA, ENOVIA)
  • Understanding of Quality, EHS standards, ergonomics, and operations management
  • Knowledge of project management, production management and process FMEA methodologies
  • Fluent in English
  • Desirable: Familiarity with railway industry practices and signaling products
