Could you be the full-time Test Manager in Kirovohrad Oblast we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical leadership and safety expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation and safety of locomotive tests. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, operations, and safety teams), coordinate on-board activities, and ensure compliance with safety protocols, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of preparing test implementations (staffing, tools, and spare parts readiness), but also ensuring proper locomotive configuration management.
We’ll look to you for:

Preparing the test implementation, including staffing and tools availability

Ensuring the locomotive and its environment are ready for testing

Providing instructions to the driver

Producing failure reports and test event chronologies

Operationally coordinating all on-board actors
-
Ensuring overall safety (EHS) and adherence to safety protocols

Managing the First Aid Box and knowing emergency alert channels

Ensuring proper configuration management of the locomotive set

Degree in engineering or a related field

Experience of 5+ years in train engineering

Experience in train development projects (e.g., TPM, TSE, or SE for different scopes) for at least three projects

Experience of 5+ years in team management

Knowledge of locomotive testing processes and safety protocols

Strong leadership and coordination skills

Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
