Could you be the full-time Test & Commissioning Engineering Domain/Metier Group Manager in Katowice we’re looking for?
Your future role:
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field.
You'll be planning, developing and managing of Test & Commissioning activities and resources according to agreed commitments in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with BID’s teams, executing of T&C objectives according to corporate strategy, policies and standards, including local regulation and relevant professional standards. You’ll be leading continuous team improvement, plan trainings and coach the team, nurture skill growth and capitalization.
You’ll specifically take care of delivering solutions for integrating actionable performance metrics, improving process models and data credibility in the progression.
We’ll look to you for:
- Agree and implement with the department head and the peer domain leaders the department guidelines (team profile and skills, growth plans, discipline evolutions in terms of technology, competitiveness
- Develop and maintain competences, coaching the team and growing Engineering Experts
- Set clear team goals, delegate tasks and set deadlines
- Provide support to team project execution
- Promote Alstom values to their team
- Prepare and host management reviews
- Continuously motivate, encourage, evaluate and recognize, train and develop resources, in cooperation with HR, as per approved performance evaluation process and targets
- Deploy Process, Methods and Tools in the team, providing feedback for Process reviews
- Collect REX from execution and innovation opportunities at department level
- Estimate / Validate activities quotations for tenders and projects
- Manage adequacy between estimated workload and capacity, considering subcontracting & business strategies, report status and issues to department head
