Your mission?


We are looking for Junior System Architect to join our R&D team in Katowice, a part of Digital & Integrated Systems division of Alstom Group. You will support system design and development strategy for new generation of computing platform used for rail control solutions all over the world.

You are result and data driven and enjoy working in network. You are comfortable in an international and multi-cultural environment and on-time delivery for you is trouble-free.


Your key responsibilities?


  • Support System Engineering Manager for identification of technical risks and definition of the development strategy, workload estimations and system design deliverables
  • Ensures quality, consistency, and on time delivery of the design and specification according to the development strategy
  • Contribute to the system design and specifications by application of System Engineering techniques for system design, technical reviews and decisions, system specifications, requirements and configuration management
  • Take part in technical discussions with Architects of target Applications, domain experts and end-users


Minimum qualifications:


  • Experience as a System Engineer or similar
  • Knowledge on PC architecture, operating systems (Linux/Unix), computer networks, cyber security, cloud computing
  • Experience in work with requirements 
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - communication, team work, flexibility
  • The ability to take a few foreign business trips (mainly Europe)




  • Knowledge in embedded systems and electronics
  • Knowledge in product lifecycle management
  • Experience in IT for industrial
  • Would be great to see each other 2 days (our team works in hybrid model) in Katowice office!
